Open Access Policy

JAO is an open-access journal that publishes articles compliant with the open-access policy based on the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) Declaration and the free publication policy. JAO's basic principle is to provide users with open access to scientific information.

The definition of OA introduced in the original BOAI is "the free availability on the public internet that allows any user to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of these articles by "open access" [to the peer-reviewed research literature]. "Can scan for indexing, transmit as data to software, or use it for any other legal purpose without financial, legal or technical barriers that cannot be separated from access to the Internet. The sole purpose of copyright in this area is to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to cite it appropriately."

JAO is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non-Commercial 4.0 International License. The terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License apply to all published articles. Authors can copy and redistribute their publications in any medium and format. Relevant work may be rearranged, transformed, and supplemented for any purpose, non-commercial, as long as appropriate reference is made.

The authors undertake that the manuscripts submitted to JAO have yet to be published anywhere before or sent to another journal for publication. The authors hold the copyright of the work and give the first publication right to the journal. No royalties are paid to the authors by the journal. All scientific, legal, and ethical responsibility for the contents of all articles published in the journal belongs to the authors. Articles published in the journal can be cited as long as they are cited. The names and e-mail addresses on the journal's website will only be used for the purposes specified in the journal and will not be shared or used for any other purpose by other people.
